Increase your backup frequency: an hourly snapshot of your data

Daily backups provide peace of mind, but what if your ticket sales, membership administration, or content changes multiple times a day? In that case, you want to be able to rely on data that is as up to date as possible and not data from yesterday.

Restoring a backup

Recently, one of our clients contacted support late in the afternoon. Due to a few unfortunate actions, a crucial page had been deleted from WordPress. The page was still in the trash, but after several follow-up steps, restoring it turned out to be more complex than expected. The question was a logical one: could we restore a backup?

Restoring backups is something we can do. Almost always. And it saves a great deal of time and investigation. By default, however, we create backups during the night, when the website is at rest. In this case, that would have meant losing all changes made that same day. Fortunately, we had activated hourly backups for this client. As a result, we were able to restore a version that was less than an hour old, resolving the issue quickly and leaving the client extremely satisfied.

Optional upgrade

We now offer hourly backups to all of our clients, so that we can support you just as effectively. Because these backups require additional storage, this is offered as an optional upgrade. For €9 per month (excluding VAT), we increase your backup frequency from once per day to once every hour. This ensures that we always have an up-to-date version of your website or application available, enabling faster and more accurate recovery in the event of an incident.
