Privacy Statement

Last update: October 25, 2022

We would like to inform you about how we handle your privacy. We comply with privacy laws, meaning your data is secure with us and used responsibly. This privacy statement explains what data we collect on our website and how we use it.

Statistics

We collect statistics on website usage in the form of your IP address and visited pages. These statistics provide insights into how our website is used and help us resolve any issues. For example, we can detect if a specific visited page resulted in an error. This data is stored on our server and retained for a maximum of 7 days.

Google Analytics

Our website places cookies from the American company Google. Through their Google Tag Manager tool, we use their Analytics service to track visitor behavior and generate reports on website usage. This allows us to improve our website and services. Google may share this information with third parties if legally required or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. We have no control over this.

We have contractually prohibited Google from using the collected Analytics data for other Google services, and your IP address is explicitly not shared. The information collected by Google is anonymized as much as possible. It is transferred to Google servers in the United States and stored for 26 months. Google is part of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield framework and adheres to its principles, ensuring an adequate level of protection for personal data processing.

You can install a Google browser extension to prevent being tracked by Google Analytics on our website and others.

Mouseflow

We use Mouseflow to collect scroll and click data on our website to improve the visitor experience. Mouseflow complies with GDPR regulations. IP addresses are automatically masked, ISPs are not recorded, and keystrokes are not stored (non-PII fields can be erased).

You can subscribe to our newsletter via our website. You will receive our newsletter approximately four times a year, containing tips, news, and information. To subscribe, we ask for your email address and your consent to be added to our subscriber list. Each newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
