Make your CMS digitally accessible too!

The UWV’s Subsidy for Inclusive Technology for small and medium-sized businesses helps employers make work more accessible for employees with a disability. This funds reimburses up to 50% of the costs (max. €25,000) for technology or software that enables or facilitates work. Applications are open from 6 January to 29 May 2026.

Make your own digital tools accessible!

Accessibility doesn’t only apply to your website visitors — it also applies to your own people. Many editors, communication specialists or marketers work daily in the WordPress CMS. For colleagues with a visual, motor, or cognitive disability, that environment isn’t always usable.
With this subsidy, you can invest in making your own digital tool accessible, such as the WordPress backend. This ensures every colleague — now and in the future — can work comfortably and independently in the CMS.

Does this fall within the subsidy rules?

The scheme applies to small and medium employers, but foundations and associations with employees also fall under this definition (as long as they have staff, fewer than 250 employees, and an annual turnover under €50 million). This means the subsidy is suitable for museums, theatres, libraries, funds and cultural organisations that want to make their internal digital workspace more inclusive.

Why have your WordPress CMS tested?

An accessible WordPress CMS delivers immediate benefits:

  • employees can work independently, regardless of disability or assistive tool;
  • your organisation meets the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and the European Accessibility Act 2025;
  • a better workflow reduces errors and increases inclusion.

Eagerly helps! We perform a WCAG audit of your CMS, implement improvements and, if desired, organise a short training session.

Plan of approach

  1. Identify whether accessibility poses a barrier for your editorial team.
  2. Request a quotation from Eagerly before 1 December 2025 for a WCAG assessment or improvement plan.
  3. Submit the subsidy application to the UWV between 6 January and 29 May 2026.
  4. Execute the project with our support and reporting.
  5. Receive up to 50% reimbursement of the costs from the UWV.

Together, we make work truly inclusive!
